Add a little New Year\u2019s fireworks show to your Deck with\u00a0Burst Protocol<\/i>!<\/h5>\n
\u201cRokkets\u201d return in\u00a0Burst Protocol<\/em>, along with the latest \u201cForbidden\u201d Quick-Play Spell Card:\u00a0Forbidden Crown<\/strong>!Depicting the struggle of powers above and below, the \u201cForbidden\u201d series of Quick-Play Spells started way back in 2009.\u00a0Forbidden Crown<\/strong>\u00a0is the sixth, and the one with the most effects (so far)!<\/p>\n

As the saying goes, \u201cheavy is the head that wears the crown.\u201d The monster chosen by\u00a0Forbidden Crown<\/strong>\u00a0gets hit with ALL of these effects for the rest of the turn:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Its effects are negated.<\/li>\n
  • It can\u2019t attack.<\/li>\n
  • It can\u2019t be destroyed.<\/li>\n
  • It\u2019s unaffected by card effects \u2013 except its own.<\/li>\n
  • It can\u2019t be Tributed, or used as Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Material.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    And finally, neither player can use monster effects in response to the Crown to try and stop it.<\/p>\n

    Since the Crown, like all \u201cForbidden\u201d Quick-Plays, can be used on either turn, you can use it on any monster, friend or foe, as offense or defense, depending on the situation. You can stop your opponent\u2019s monster effects, disrupt their Summoning strategy by making a monster unusable as material, or make it indestructible while it\u2019s stuck in Attack Position so you can run over it again and again to smash their Life Points. On the other hand, you can use it on your own monsters to protect them from enemy card effects, from being destroyed in battle, and from being used as material by your opponent. And since it opens so many possibilities, it\u2019s a great card to Set if you\u2019re going first, because it always has a great use.<\/p>\n

    It\u2019s the Crown for every occasion!<\/p>\n

    And who knows the weight of the Crown better than\u00a0Darklord Eveningstar<\/strong>? The Darklords are back! Use\u00a0Darklord Dance\u00a0<\/strong>to easily Fusion Summon Eveningstar (or any DARK Fairy) with materials from the hand, field, or Graveyard (or even use \u201cDarklords\u201d your opponent controls\u2026) and boost his ATK by a thousand.\u00a0Darklord Eveningstar<\/strong>\u00a0Sets a \u201cDarklord\u201d Spell and a \u201cDarklord\u201d Trap from your Deck when he\u2019s Summoned, and has the standard \u201cDarklord\u201d power to duplicate the effects of \u201cDarklord\u201d Spells and Traps in your Graveyard before shuffling them back into your Deck for re-use.<\/p>\n

    It\u2019s a \u201cRokket\u201d relaunch! Use the many powerful \u201cBorrel\u201d Link Monsters from\u00a0Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS<\/em>\u00a0to fire off brand-new \u201cRokket\u201d monsters inspired by Varis\u2019 strategy from the anime! You can also add a new Link-5 \u201cBorrel\u201d Monster to your Extra Deck to go alongside your mighty Borrelend Dragon! And while Mercurium has material, your opponent cannot activate any monster effects in their Graveyard, if you have a monster with that same Attribute in YOUR Graveyard. Mercurium needs to be kept fed with new materials to keep this effect going, but as long as you can keep him satisfied, you\u2019ll be able to shut down your opponent\u2019s key strategies!<\/p>\n
